Clinical Systems Neuroscience
Our group is an interdisciplinary academic platform enabling young researchers to implement their own ideas and conduct independent research while encouraging an active exchange of expertise. We are based at the University Hospital of Marburg in Germany.
Integrating the knowledge and skills of medical doctors, neuroscientists, physicists and psychologists, we employ innovative analytic techniques in order to advance the knowledge of physiological and pathological network activity in the brain.
Based on an improved understanding of pathophysiological processes, we focus on the development of new therapeutic applications for neurological diseases. In particular, we are dedicated to advance deep brain stimulation protocols for movement disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease.
